Overview

Camille Peltier is a lawyer in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group of our Montréal office. She handles complex matters in civil and commercial litigation in various areas, including product liability, consumer law and contract disputes.

In her practice, Camille’s work is varied and covers everything from in-depth legal research and settlement negotiations, to drafting pleadings tailored to each legal action and drafting submissions before all levels of courts. Her ability to navigate complex contentious situations and develop effective legal strategies makes her a valuable ally in resolving commercial disputes.

Camille advises a diverse client base that includes manufacturers and distributors in various sectors such as automotive, industrial machinery and consumer goods. She regularly works closely with specialized experts to provide legal solutions adapted to the unique challenges of each sector.

Given Camille’s extensive knowledge of the Consumer Protection Act, her work is not limited to litigation, but also involves reviewing contracts and optimizing commercial practices under consumer law.

During her studies, Camille distinguished herself by taking an active role in the student community, particularly while Vice-President of academic affairs for the law student association at the Université de Montréal. Prior to articling at Fasken, Camille completed her Juris Doctor in North American common law.
