Overview

Erin is developing a broad practice in commercial litigation, with a focus on regulatory, environmental, energy and Indigenous law. Erin assists clients with facility applications for oil and gas and electricity infrastructure, including pipelines and transmission lines. She provides advice on environmental and regulatory matters, particularly in relation to licensing, enforcement, remediation, and reclamation of contaminated sites. Erin also supports clients in managing issues arising from spills and releases, and offers guidance on environmental and regulatory considerations during transactions.

Erin has experience assisting clients develop and defend applications before a variety of administrative tribunals, including the Canada Energy Regulator, Alberta Utilities Commission and the Alberta Land and Property Rights Tribunal. She has also represented clients in various litigation matters in the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Justice.

Prior to joining the Firm, Erin worked in environmental conservation and research in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, and also worked for education and legal tech startups.
