Evan’s practice focuses on banking and finance, advising lenders and borrowers on financings that support growth, acquisitions, and commercial real estate development and investment.
He regularly represents Canadian and international financial institutions, private lenders, and borrowers in a wide range of transactions, including bilateral and syndicated facilities, senior and mezzanine capital, first‑ and second‑lien structures, asset‑based lending, project and commercial real estate finance, and acquisition financings. His practice also includes advising on commercial real estate transactions more broadly, including acquisitions and dispositions, as well as leasing matters across a range of asset classes.
Evan is also actively building a practice focused on supporting emerging technology clients, with a particular emphasis on the fintech sector.
