Overview

Fasken’s Financial Services Group is hosting its annual regulatory event on Tuesday, December 2nd, covering regulatory developments in 2025 affecting the banking, insurance and payments sectors and previewing what’s coming in 2026.

The session will include a fireside chat with FSRA’s new CEO, updates from Payments Canada on new membership options and Real-time Rail progress to support economic productivity and Open Banking, and a discussion on how the economic outlook and federal budget may affect the financial services industry. It will include speakers from Fasken, the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario, Payments Canada and the Canadian Bankers Association.
