On February 3, 2020, Unicare Homes Inc. sold Inglewood Care Centre to Baptist Housing, a non-profit society. The sale involved C$114 million in financing from BC Housing, a provincial Crown agency, and included Inglewood Care Centre as well as three adjacent lots.
Inglewood Care Centre is a 57 year old facility with 230 long-term care beds in West Vancouver, British Columbia.
Fasken advised Unicare Homes Inc. on the sale with a team that included Ally Bharmal, Gary Ott and Cathy Jares (M&A), and Sarah Batut, Kristian Arciaga and Cara Chu (Real Estate).
