On November 27, 2024, Broccolini Investment Inc. ("Broccolini") successfully completed the sale of a 981,442 square foot industrial facility to Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. ("Michelin"). The property, located at 1500 Industrial Park Drive, Cornwall, Ontario, was constructed by Broccolini.
The transaction, which required severance consent under the Planning Act (Ontario) and site plan approval, marks a significant development in the region. The facility will serve as a key warehousing location for the distribution of Michelin tires across Eastern Canada. As the largest tire manufacturing employer in Canada, Michelin's new facility is expected to create numerous jobs in Cornwall.
