The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA) successfully defended against an application for judicial review, resulting in the Federal Court's dismissal of the case.
This followed an environmental assessment of VFPA’s proposed project to build and operate an expansion of the marine shipping terminal at Roberts Bank, Delta, British Columbia.
Fasken successfully defended the Federal Government’s approval of VFPA’s Project following the environmental assessment, with a team led by Geoffrey Cowper, KC, and Bridget Gilbride, and supported by Julia Kindrachuk, Mary Wallace, and Will Andrews (Articling Student).
