On July 21, 2025, la Caisse (formerly Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec) has finalized the privatization of Innergex Renewable Energy Inc.
This transaction is a major step forward in the growth of one of Canada’s leading renewable energy platforms.
In keeping with its stated intention, La Caisse has also completed the syndication process aimed at transferring up to 20% of its capital invested in Innergex to partners who share its vision for the company’s future. This process assembled a group of investors that included several leading Québec institutions, such as Investissement Québec, Desjardins Global Asset Management and Fondaction.
International investors, which include 14 Swiss institutional investors, have also joined the syndicate, strengthening the global reach of this Québec-based initiative.
