Fasken advised the Special Committee of H&R Real Estate Investment Trust (the “REIT”), in connection with its strategic review of potential transactions involving the sale of the REIT or of all or substantially all of its assets. On November 25, 2025, the REIT announced that it entered into binding agreements with multiple buyers to sell retail and office properties in Canada and the United States, for total gross proceeds before transaction costs of $1.5 billion.
