On September 9, 2026, Agritex announced an agreement to acquire JLD-Laguë, including its Ontario division Green Tech, from Champlain Financial. The transaction will bring together two John Deere dealership networks to create a network of 31 locations across Québec and Ontario.
JLD-Laguë Group operates 19 John Deere locations under the JLD-Laguë banner in Québec and Green Tech in Eastern Ontario, serving the agricultural, commercial, residential and compact construction markets. Agritex currently operates a network of 12 John Deere locations in Québec. The combined network is expected to have more than 270 certified technicians and an expanded equipment, parts and service offering.
The transaction is expected to close in November 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
