Did you know that October 17, 2014 is the deadline to transition under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (CNCA)?

Join Fasken Martineau speakers Anna Tosto, Virginia Schweitzer and Julia Kennedy for an informative session on the CNCA, which will answer some of these questions:

  • Is it too late? What does my corporation need to do to transition under the CNCA before the deadline?
  • Have there been any big changes under the CNCA to the rights and obligations of directors, officers and members?
  • What is the difference between a soliciting and non-soliciting corporation? Does it matter?
  • What if I am a charity – do I need to do anything different?

Space is limited.  Depending on demand, a second session may be held on a different date to be announced.

This event has reached capacity. We are considering holding a second session at a later date. If you are interested in possibly attending this later session, please send your contact details by email to Julie Brunetti and we will contact you regarding a second session. Thank you for your interest.
