In Conversation: Addressing Anti-Asian Racism

When (ET)

As part of Fasken’s continued efforts to raise awareness and address racism in all its forms, we invite you to join us for a webinar on anti-Asian racism.

In his Globe and Mail Opinion piece published on March 29th, 2021, Professor Joseph Wong discusses the microaggressions and systemic racism faced by Asian Canadians every day. Our panel will continue this conversation, touching on their own lived experience, with the goal of raising awareness and advancing change.

The session will address:

  • The rise in anti-Asian racism
  • The “model minority myth” and how to identify micro-aggressions and discrimination
  • What organizations and individuals can do to address anti-Asian racism

Please note that this webinar will be held in English with a live French translation audio option.
