Gavin Cameron is a litigator in Vancouver with a focus on commercial disputes and white collar criminal investigations. Using a strategic approach, he advises on contractual disputes, shareholders’ remedies, defamation, commercial fraud, and professional negligence actions.
Mindful of the need for timely, efficient and cost-effective solutions, Gavin also acts for individuals and corporations subject to criminal and quasi-criminal investigations, implementing strategies to avoid charges, and when necessary, defending their interests in court. He appears as counsel in trials and appeals in all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as in the Supreme Court of Canada. Gavin also regularly acts as counsel in commercial arbitrations.
Protecting the interests of clients, Gavin has significant experience with publication bans, sealing orders and obtaining other discretionary remedies. He resolves disputes in a strategic manner, always mindful of clients’ business interests.
He is also an adjunct professor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia teaching civil procedure.
