Overview

Janice Javier is a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Client Services Groups. Her practice is focused on corporate/commercial law. She has extensive experience with private company mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations.

 She frequently advises clients on structuring, negotiating and implementing the acquisition and divestiture of private companies. Janice also works with clients on the establishment and operation of strategic relationships, including partnerships and joint ventures.

Providing clients with advice on general corporate and commercial matters, Janice also regularly advises on business arrangements with shareholders, third parties and public and private financiers.

Janice’s practice also includes succession, governance and strategic planning. She works with closely-held and family-owned businesses facilitating corporate re-organizations, the establishment of holding structures and a wide range of related corporate transactions.

Janice acts for Canadian and multinational clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, automotive, building materials, industrial goods and services, private equity and the public sector.
