Karine Fournier is the head of the legal translators and revisers team within Fasken’s Linguistic Services department. She is committed to continuously innovate and improve the efficiency of the linguistic services in which she works, all while keeping a very humane feel to the process and to her approach.

With over 15 years of experience in the field of translation, Karine offers a wide range of expertise in managing local and international teams, both in translation agencies and in internal services.

Moreover, she is highly experienced not only in translation, but also in revision, project management, human resources and recruitment. She has an extensive knowledge of translation technologies and tools, and she has distinguished herself throughout her career in business development, negotiation and customer service.

She has managed a translation agency’s international division, founded a translation department, and restructured global translation services for an international engineering firm.

Karine also sat as President of the Francization Committee for the Office québécois de la langue française at an international engineering firm.

She is a member of the Association des conseils en gestion linguistique and a certified translator with the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés au Québec.
