Ling Wong is a lawyer, patent agent and trademark agent in Vancouver advising on a broad range of intellectual property matters and helping clients to protect their intellectual property and innovations.

Ling has represented some of the most established companies in the high tech, information technology, oil and gas, cleantech, chemical, medical devices, food and beverage and consumer goods industries. He also acts for relative juniors and start-ups in these sectors.

Focusing primarily on the area of patents, Ling assists with drafting and prosecuting Canadian and foreign patent applications, managing multinational patent portfolios, providing patentability, infringement and validity opinions, and counseling clients on patent-related disputes and litigation. He also provides advice on industrial designs, trade-marks and copyrights.

Ling also has extensive experience advising on the IP aspects of commercial transactions.
