Magali Cournoyer-Proulx practises labour and human rights law. She is a renowned speaker and author interested in employment law and diverse health law issues. Over the years, she has also developed a practice in professional law and intervenes in regulatory, disciplinary and ethical matters as well as professional liability.
Magali focuses more specifically on individual employment relationships. She advises and represents a clientele composed primarily of employers on issues related to the recruitment and dismissal workers, labour standards, psychological harassment, non-competition and non-solicitation, and human rights.
In health law, Magali practises in the area of administrative law as applied to healthcare and social services and in mental health law. She is interested in the legal aspects of the internal management of facilities and their various bodies, including the council of doctors, dentists and pharmacists.
Magali also completed a mediation program offered by Harvard Law School (Executive Education) and is a certified civil, commercial and labour mediator with the Barreau du Québec.
