Maria Braker is a research lawyer in our Litigation and Conflict Resolution group. She has extensive experience in appellate advocacy, in litigation involving governmental bodies, in administrative law, as well as in private international law.
Maria began her career as a research lawyer at the Court of Appel of Quebec, for the honorable Jacques Chamberland, J.C.A. Before joining Fasken, she practiced civil, commercial and administrative litigation in a boutique litigation firm. She was also counsel for the Commission of Inquiry on the Awarding and Management of Public Contracts in the Construction Industry (Charbonneau Commission). Maria has pleaded before all judicial tribunals in Quebec, including the Court of Appeal.
