Overview

Mina Bakkioui is a partner within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. Mina has extensive experience in managing in commercial litigation and her practice involves advising and representing clients in areas that include real estate, commercial and contract litigation, environmental law and land use law.

Mina is meticulous and dedicated to meeting your needs while ensuring that the appropriate strategies are identified in order to achieve your goals.

Prior to joining Fasken, Mina practised with a regional law firm.

  • Miura acquires Cleaver-Brooks, [Deal - Miura Co., Ltd.], Private M&A deal
  • Expropriation matters for Broccolini in relation to the REM, [Case - Broccolini Construction Inc.], As part of the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) public transit project, Fasken advises Broccolini Construction Inc. on expropriation matters. The Fasken team is composed of Nikolas Blanchette, Mina Bakkioui and Alexandra Giroux.
  • An out-of-court settlement concludes the $66.3 million lawsuit filed by developer Aldo Coviello against the City of Laval, [Case - Aldo Construction Inc.], A developer sues the City of Laval for disguised expropriation as a result of being foreclosed from carrying out a development project.
