Mykala Way is an Associate in Fasken’s Real Estate Group, where she maintains a broad commercial real estate practice. She advises on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development of properties across Canada, including office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and residential projects.
Mykala earned her Juris Doctor from Western University’s Faculty of Law, where she actively contributed to the Western Law community through roles with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and the Family Law Clinic. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Co-Op) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which included a twelve-month placement with an international mining company.
Before joining Fasken, Mykala articled and practiced at a national law firm in Toronto, gaining experience in complex real estate transactions.
