Toronto (Canada) – Fasken is pleased to welcome Katie Higgins as Counsel in the Firm's Global Infrastructure and Projects Group. She will be based in Toronto and will work closely with clients across the infrastructure sector, drawing on her deep understanding of procurement, project delivery and public sector decision-making.

Katie is a seasoned infrastructure lawyer with more than a decade of experience advising clients on complex major public infrastructure projects. She brings broad experience across diverse asset classes, including transit, health care, development and public safety projects. Katie advises clients throughout the project lifecycle, including procurement, project pursuit, negotiation, transaction, construction, and operations and maintenance.
Prior to joining Fasken, Katie advised both public and private sector clients on major infrastructure projects. She later served as a Legal Director at Infrastructure Ontario, where she developed extensive experience advising public owners on complex and novel procurement, construction and infrastructure development issues and strategies.
