Paige is a commercial litigator in Fasken’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. She has a broad disputes practice focused on complex commercial litigation, shareholder and corporate disputes, class actions, technology-related matters, and domestic and cross-border commercial arbitration. She brings a pragmatic and practical approach to dispute resolution, with a focus on advancing her clients’ commercial objectives.
Paige represents public and private companies, technology businesses, individuals, and other organizations at all stages of a dispute. Her experience includes breach of contract disputes, oppression and shareholder claims, privacy and consumer protection class actions, regulatory proceedings, and the approval of plans of arrangement.
Paige has substantial experience preparing for and conducting complex commercial trials, including lengthy proceedings involving extensive documentary and technical evidence. Notable matters include:
- Counsel for Smithe Residences Ltd., by its Receiver, MNP Ltd., who successfully pursued claims arising from a joint venture agreement for the development of a mixed-use residential and commercial high-rise project in Vancouver. The matter proceeded to a 30-day trial before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, with judgment granted in favour of Smithe Residences: Smithe Residences Ltd., by its receiver, MNP Ltd. v Boffo Investment Corp., 2026 BCSC 334.
- Counsel for airG Inc. in an oppression action brought by a former director that raised important issues regarding shareholder rights and fiduciary obligations in British Columbia. The action was dismissed against airG, and substantial parts of its counterclaim were allowed: Yen v. Ghahramani, 2025 BCSC 1778.
- Counsel for Truly Social Games, LLC, a game development company, in an action for breach of contract and breach of the duty of good faith in contractual relations. Truly Social Games successfully defended applications for summary judgment and significant security for costs, enabling the action to proceed: Truly Social Games, LLC v East Side Games Group Ltd., 2024 BCSC 1260.
Paige has appeared as counsel before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Court of Appeal for British Columbia, and has acted in domestic commercial arbitrations and administrative proceedings.
Paige graduated from Thompson Rivers University as the recipient of the Law Society of British Columbia Gold Medal. After completing articles at the Firm, she went on to clerk for six Justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Paige is committed to the legal profession and the broader community. She previously served as a Director, Gala Chair, and Vice President, Development, of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers BC. She is currently an Associate Representative to Fasken’s Empower Network, a member of the Student Committee, and is the Course Coordinator for the UBC Allan McEachern Advanced Trial Advocacy Course.
