Currently acting as lead counsel for utilities in the electric and gas industries on several transmission infrastructure projects in Alberta and British Columbia ranging up to and including 500kV. These projects include advising and representing clients with respect to regulatory and legislative requirements, public consultation, First Nations matters, environmental assessments (under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Act, and the Alberta Environmental Protection and Environmental Assessment Act), and in regulatory proceedings before the AEUB and the BCUC.
