On November 28, 2007, Liqui-Box Canada Inc. ("Liqui-Box"), a subsidiary of E.I. du Pont Canada Company, finalized the sale of its performance films business segment to Exopack Performance Films Inc., an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc. This sale included the Dartek and Sclairfilm portfolio of films and Liqui-Box's former Whitby, Ontario facility. Liqui-Box was advised by in-house counsel Bonnie McIlmoyl, and a team from Fasken Martineau that included Andrew Nunes (corporate and technology), Bill Bies and Alan Schwartz (tax), Anthony Baldanza and Mark Magro (competition), Dan Law (real estate), Rosalind Cooper (environmental), Ross Gascho (pensions), Patrick Gannon (employment/labour), Paul Casuccio (commodity tax) and Mark Penner (intellectual property), assisted by student-at-law Amanda Fullerton and paralegal Gina Croce.
