Hullmark completes purchase of a 50% interest in the property municipally known as 109-117 George Street, Toronto

On January 31, 2022, HM PC (109 George) LP closed on the C$9.125 million acquisition of a 50% undivided interest in the property municipally known as 109 - 117 George Street, Toronto from Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. Fasken assisted with all aspects of the acquisition including setting up the corporate entities for the acquisition for Hullmark Developments Ltd.  ("Hullmark"), negotiating the limited partnership agreement for HM PC (109 George) LP, as well as negotiating the co-ownership agreement and the management agreements with Sun Life.

Fasken also represented HM PC (109 George) LP, as borrower and Hullmark, as guarantor, in respect of a C$9.125 million mortgage loan from ACM Commerical Mortgage Fund in connection with the acquisition.

Fasken represented Hullmark and HM PC (109 George) LP with a team led by Marty Emmons and Allyson Roy and including Harry Bhandal and Joanne Meadowcroft (Paralegal/Law Clerk).
