Terry Kyle Lapierre is a member of the Labour, Employment and Human Rights group at the Québec City office. He specializes in labour and employment law.
Terry’s practice focuses on large-scale commercial transactions in which he advises buyers and sellers on issues relating to labour, employment, benefits and pension plans that arise at any stage of a commercial transaction. In addition, Terry regularly advises employers on employment law issues, including employment standards, regulatory compliance, employment contracts, termination of employment, internal investigations, human rights, benefits, pay equity, and privacy. He also advises and represents employers in employment-related litigation and disputes and on issues relating to labour, employment, human rights, and pension plans.
Terry has appeared before the courts and various specialized administrative tribunals and has taken part in appeals to the Supreme Court of Canada and the Court of Appeal of Québec.
Before joining Fasken, Terry practised labour and employment law and pension plan law with an international firm and practised civil, commercial and tax litigation at another national firm.
