Tiegan Scott is an associate in the Firm's Labour, Employment and Human Rights Group. He provides employers with practical and timely guidance, transforming complex legal issues into clear, actionable paths forward.
Tiegan provides comprehensive support across the employment lifecycle, serving as a trusted advisor for employers on daily workplace matters. He is regularly involved in the development of robust employment agreements, the maintenance of workplace policies, and the management of terminations and employment-related litigation. From a labour relations perspective, he also assists clients with collective bargaining and grievance arbitrations.
Tiegan earned his Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. While in law school, he held several leadership roles, including as an Executive of the Domus Legis Society (Canada's oldest student-run social society for law students) and as Co-Captain of the Dalhousie Sports Committee. He also contributed to the legal community as a volunteer editor for the Dalhousie Law Journal and as a student volunteer with the Pro Bono Wills Project.
Before joining Fasken, Tiegan practiced with a leading Atlantic Canadian firm, where he developed a strong foundation in management-side labour and employment law.
