Tyler is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Fasken's Vancouver office.
Tyler has a broad litigation practice, including experience in contractual and partnership disputes, commercial arbitrations, class proceedings, and employment matters. He has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in British Columbia and before various administrative tribunals.
He is a graduate of the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where he participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, interned with judges of the Provincial Court of British Columbia, travelled on circuit court to northern British Columbia, worked as a research assistant and student ambassador, and provided pro bono legal representation through the Law Students' Legal Advice Program.
Tyler summered and articled at Fasken before serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to six justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He rejoined the firm as an associate following his clerkship.
