Vicky Asante is an associate in the firm's Competition, Marketing & Foreign Investment and Health Law practice groups. Her practice spans a wide range of competition, regulatory and health law matters.
Vicky graduated from Western University’s Faculty of Law, where she served as Co-President of the Black Law Students’ Association – Western Chapter for two years. She also mentored aspiring law students through Black Future Lawyers.
Prior to law school, Vicky earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Law from the University of Ottawa, graduating Cum Laude. Before entering private practice, Vicky worked at the Canada Revenue Agency as a Program Officer, where she analyzed legislation while supporting the implementation of related policy changes.
Vicky summered and articled with the firm. As a summer student, she was seconded to Holt Renfrew.
In her spare time, she enjoys video games, fashion, photography and collecting vinyl records.
