Gagan first joined Fasken as a Seconded Articling Student after initially articling at a crown corporation and later became an Associate in 2018. Since joining Fasken, Gagan has advocated on behalf of his clients in the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia, as well as in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, such as arbitration and mediation.
