Québec City (Canada) – Fasken is pleased to announce that Jean-François De Rico has joined the Firm as a partner in the Business Law group. Based in the Québec City office, he brings 25 years of experience advising on the legal aspects of technology and digital risk management.
A seasoned business lawyer, Jean-François is recognized for the excellence of his practice in information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and privacy. He also advises organizations on the development and implementation of governance frameworks, compliance programs and policies.
Jean-François also advises on digital transformation projects, the integration and acquisition of technology solutions, cloud computing and outsourcing, as well as the management of security and privacy incidents. His experience also includes governance and risk management related to generative and agentic AI.
This marks a return to Fasken for Jean-François, who previously practised at the Firm.
