On September 24, 2024, an equity consortium led by Castle Harlan completed its acquisition of Alumni Educational Solutions (“Alumni”), a manufacturer and distributor of educational furniture across North America. Alumni was sold by Ironbridge Equity Partners, a Canadian middle-market private equity firm, that had acquired Alumni in 2019. The transaction was a multi-jurisdictional, cross-border deal involving Canada, the United States, and China.

Castle Harlan is a global leading private equity investment firm with a diverse portfolio of investments across various industries. Alumni, headquartered in Ontario, is a manufacturer specializing in innovative educational furniture for pre-school, K-12 and higher education institutions.
