As an attorney admitted to the High Court, Danielle van der Vaart brings project development experience from both a Magic Circle law firm and a prominent domestic law firm in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Her expertise spans project finance transactions related to renewable energy, infrastructure PPP projects in Africa, and energy and utility projects in the Middle East. With a robust background in project development and banking and finance across Africa, Danielle has comprehensive experience in closing high-value, cross-border project financing transactions, acting as Lender counsel, Sponsor counsel and Offtaker counsel.
Danielle has extensive negotiating experience focused on key project documents such as EPC Contracts, O&M Contracts, Power Purchase Agreements, and Concession Agreements.
